On August 4, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Ilshat Tazhitdinov, during a working trip to the Alga Special Economic Zone, held a meeting on the site on the creation of engineering and transport infrastructure facilities of the Special Economic Zone, as well as the construction of industrial facilities. Heads of administrations of the Ishimbaysky and Sterlitamaksky districts, representatives of the Development Corporation, and contracting organizations took part in its work.
At the site, the issues of connecting the production facilities of residents to engineering and energy infrastructure facilities were discussed. The construction progress of water supply and sanitation networks was considered.
At the first site of the Alga SEZ, the Arkada and ZUR companies, which launched the first stage of production in December 2021, are constructing new buildings. In particular, the Arkada Production Association is supplementing its workwear tailoring facilities with a new glove shop. An enterprise for the production of sportswear is being built next door. The project is being implemented by the ZASPORT factory. The launch of both production facilities in the commissioning mode is expected this year.
Based on the results, instructions were given to ensure the timely commissioning of infrastructure facilities and to provide maximum assistance to residents in accessing the necessary energy and utility resources.
In total, 12 residents are registered in the Alga SEZ with a declared investment of 25.7 billion rubles and planning to create 1,733 new jobs. The lease area of the SEZ territory is 336.8 hectares, of which 143 hectares are currently occupied by residents, 72 hectares are reserved by potential residents, and 121.7 hectares (36.15%) are free areas.
