The Iranian delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation Kazem Jalali expressed interest in production technologies, as well as products of industrial enterprises of Bashkortostan. This became known during a visit by the Iranian side to the industrial enterprises of the republic from July 31 to August 2 this year.
At the end of 2021, there is an increase in exports to Iran by 6.7 times. At the same time, enterprises of the republic are ready to increase the volume of supplies of their products. Iranian colleagues were interested in the experience of Bashkortostan in land reclamation, the construction industry and the oil and gas sector.
“In my opinion, we can cooperate very well with Russia in industry and especially in the oil and gas sector. In this area, Russian partners have achieved good results,” Kazem Jalali said.
During the visit, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with Kazem Jalali. The parties talked about expanding cooperation and implementing joint projects, including the creation of a transport and logistics hub on the Caspian Sea.
During the meeting, Radiy Khabirov stressed that the republic, like other regions of Russia, is ready for comprehensive cooperation with Iran. In the fall of 2022, it is planned to send a business mission from Bashkortostan to Iran, it will be headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic Rustam Muratov.
