Investments growth in trade sector of Bashkiria amounted to 63.6%

In the Republic of Bashkortostan, the investment growth in trade for the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 63.6%. Retail trade turnover increased by 3.1% over the five months and public catering turnover - by 6.4%. Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB, Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy RB, announced this during a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Trade and Services RB.

Aleksey Gusev spoke about the results of the activities of the Ministry of Trade and Services of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the first half of 2022 and priority tasks.

“As of July 1, 2022, about 26 thousand trade enterprises operate in the republic, including 5.6 thousand food stores, 9.7 thousand non-food stores, 5.7 thousand mixed-range stores, and 615 trading complexes. Also, trade is carried out by more than 4.2 thousand non-stationary trade facilities,” Aleksey Gusev indicated.

Since the beginning of 2022, more than 150 retail facilities have been commissioned in the republic, 255 fairgrounds have been arranged, 3,767 street trading places have been organized at 389 sites, and 7.7 thousand public catering establishments have been operating, with more than 550 thousand seats.
