

The industrial production index of Bashkortostan for the first half of 2022 increased by 5.1% compared to the same period in 2021. This is 3.1% higher than the average Russian value (102.0%) and 3.7% higher than the average value for the Volga Federal District (101.4%). Positive dynamics were shown in three sectors of industrial production - mining (120.7%), manufacturing (103.5%), and the energy sector (101.6%). This was reported by the Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of Bashkortostan Alexander Sheldyaev.
"Industrial production in Bashkortostan in the first half of this year grew by 5.1% compared to the same period last year. Growth was shown by manufacturing industries, including the extraction of crude oil and natural gas (131.6%), the production of finished metal products, except for machinery and equipment (126.3%), electrical equipment - 2.3 times, furniture - 149.2%, medicines and materials used for medical purposes (127.3%), printing and copying of information media (143.0%) Out of 29 industrial types of economic activity, 21 provided growth in production volumes," Alexander Sheldyaev said.
It should be noted that according to the anti-crisis plan, 25 measures worth more than 1.8 billion rubles are provided to support the industrial sector and systemically important enterprises in general. As part of the anti-crisis plan, regional industrial development funds will be capitalized, the funds will be used to compensate up to 90% of payments on paid loans to replenish the working capital of enterprises. About 128 million rubles were channeled to Bashkortostan, as one of the leading industrial regions. The republic also subsidizes the purchase of raw materials and materials for light industry enterprises (150 million rubles), and the purchase of machinery and equipment for woodworking enterprises (40 million rubles).
