In Bashkiria, in 2021, the number of small and medium-sized businesses that have provided growth rates of more than 20% per year over the past three years amounted to 1,784 units, which is 4.5% higher than in 2020.
More than 58.5% of fast-growing companies are micro-companies, 37.6% are small, and the rest are medium-sized enterprises. An analysis of their structure shows that more than 70% of them are businesses no older than 10 years, including about 36% less than 5 years old.
“The analyzed fast-growing companies in 2021 ensured an increase in employment by more than 11.2 thousand people, sales revenue - by 50.8 billion rubles, net assets - investments by 10.2 billion rubles. compared to 2020,” Denis Chuvilin, Ph.D., the author of the study, said.
The sectoral structure is dominated by construction (203 units), cargo transportation (50), security services (42), electrical installation (42), dentistry (38), wholesale non-specialized trade (38), restaurants, and food delivery services (35).
More than 60% of fast-growing companies are registered in Ufa, and another 20% - are in six municipalities (Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Tuymazinsky district, Ufimsky district, and Salavat).
