Issuance of car loans in June increased by 23.5% in Bashkiria compared to May

After a fall in March, the issuance of loans for the purchase of cars is recovering, the National Bureau of Credit Histories notes. If in March 710 car loans were issued in Bashkiria, in April - 822, in May - 1330 (+57%), then in June - 1642 (+23.5). The republic hit the top five regions, whose residents took the largest number of loans for the purchase of cars (after Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan).

A total of 39,000 car loans for new and used cars were issued in June in the 30 most economically active regions of the Russian Federation.

Market analysts attribute the growth to a reduction in rates following the key one, and the level of approval of car loans has also risen.

According to Banki.ru, since March 25, the average rate on car loans has decreased by 8.79 percentage points and amounted to 14.85% per annum.

The average rate on loans for the purchase of new cars was 15.4% per annum (as of March 25 - 23.9% per annum), used - 15.1% per annum (as of March 25 - 24.71% per annum).

The highest rates were fixed for the purchase of commercial vehicles (buses, trucks, special equipment): 16.7% - for new cars (-13.2 p.p. from March 25), 16.9% - for used cars (-14.9 p.p. from March 25).

Further recovery of both the segment of car loans and the entire car market will be facilitated by the resumption in July of the state program of preferential car loans, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories.
