Only the Leningrad and Belgorod regions, the republics of Bashkortostan and Crimea, as well as the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, have created investment maps for their regions of the 33 regions that began implementing the new investment standard in 2022. Another 28 entities will complete this work by autumn. This was reported by the press service of the Russian government.
Investment maps contain information on territorial planning, resource base, infrastructure, support measures, and tariffs. They are designed to become a kind of investor's window into the regional economy. To date, 33 regions have created investment declarations, committees, and development agencies. A set of rules with optimal algorithms for connecting to the infrastructure and obtaining permits is being implemented on schedule. By August 18, this work should be completed.
Recall that at the end of 2021, Bashkiria retained 5th place in the National Investment Climate Rating. According to the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva, the subjects of the Russian Federation were evaluated by the effectiveness of the work of regional teams, and regional leaders in creating favorable conditions for investors, and investments.
