More than six tons of down and feathers were sent from Bashkiria to Italy for sewing outerwear and blankets

An enterprise from the Tuimazinsky district of Bashkiria, specializing in the industrial processing of agricultural products, sent another batch of original goose and duck feather-down raw materials to partners from Italy.

“Before being shipped to Europe, the entire batch of feathers and down for sewing outerwear and stuffing bedding with a total weight of 6817.7 kg was disinfected with a steam stream at a temperature of over 1200 degrees for 60 minutes,” the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor reported.

An international veterinary certificate form 5f and an EU certificate have been issued for raw materials of animal origin controlled by specialists of the territorial Department of Rosselkhoznadzor.

According to the issued conclusion, the products fully comply with the safety requirements of the European Union and the importing country.
