Comfortable "Lastochka" trains began to run in city of Ufa
Since July 18, four commuter trains “Lastochka” in the 5-car version have started running in the city of Ufa on the routes Ufa – Iglino and Iglino – Dema.
This was reported by the press service of the Russian Railways.
This decision was made by the Kuibyshev Railway together with the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan as part of a program to ensure transport accessibility of the region's residents.
In addition, the schedule of these suburban trains is connected to the popular Western Express train in Bashkiria (Abdulino - Priyutovo - Ufa), thanks to which it will now become more convenient to travel from Iglino station to Abdulino, passengers will not need to transfer at Ufa station, the trip can be continued in the fast commuter train "Lastochka".
