Abkhazia and Bashkiria presented their opportunities in economy and tourism

A presentation of the economic, investment, and tourism opportunities of Bashkiria and Abkhazia took place in the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa, the press service of the government of Bashkiria reports.

Bashkiria, with its four million population, has a recognized business reputation in Russia and the world and develops trade and economic ties with 128 countries. The volume of foreign trade turnover for 2021 exceeded $4.6 billion, and foreign trade turnover with Abkhazia for the same period amounted to $14.6 million. The republic produces almost the entire range of basic types of food products and is one of the three leading regions in the production of beef, koumiss, honey, and milk, the number of horses and cattle. Bashkiria leads the country in the production of motor gasoline and soda ash, trailers, and semi-trailers up to 3.5 tons. It ranks second in the production of diesel fuel, benzene and synthetic rubber, concrete pump trucks, hydraulic motors, lamps, and lighting devices, and third in the production of helicopters and plastics, hoists and vehicle body lifts. The region is ready to develop joint projects in tourism and health resorts, construction and energy, housing and utility services, medicine, education, and culture.

Abkhazia, in turn, is famous for its tourism opportunities and is ready to receive guests from Bashkiria, as well as to support investors who want to support the economy of the republic. Thus, an investor can count on a 50% reduction in income tax and property tax when investing from 10 to 70 million rubles. Exemption from income tax and property tax is possible with an investment of more than 70 million rubles. These benefits and preferences are valid during the payback period of the project, but not more than 8 years from the start of its implementation.
