Bashkiria organizes business mission to Abkhazia this autumn

“Our relationship is also emotional. These are long years of friendship between the two peoples and mutual support, starting from the 1920s. This is a very important foundation for the development of economic, humanitarian and cultural relations,” the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, said answering a question of the Bashinform News Agency during a press scrum after a working meeting of the delegations of the republic and Abkhazia.

“Now we are analyzing the goods turnover. Of course, there is work to be done. We are interested in agricultural products that are grown in Abkhazia. Abkhazian tourism and health resorts are interesting. Today Aslan Georgievich proposed to consider the possibility of organizing a summer recreational holiday for our children. They need a good rest. Therefore, we decided that we would send specialists from our Ministry of Education and Science to Abkhazia to work out options for recreation. It is important to provide everything you need. We are very grateful to Aslan Georgievich for inviting our children,” Radiy Khabirov said.

According to him, this is a new stage of our cooperation.

“We already had agreements. I think that based on the results of the last meeting, my colleagues from Abkhazia and I will prepare a new agreement that will update the ongoing processes. We also agreed that in the autumn we would organize a business mission to Abkhazia and hold negotiations on specific deals, agreements, and increase in trade turnover,” the Head of Bashkortostan emphasized.
