Radiy Khabirov told about Alga SEZ development

Large-scale construction continues at the sites of the Alga Special Economic Zone in the Ishimbay and Sterlitamak regions. The Head of Bashkiria shared with information on social media about how the residents of the Alga SEZ started their operation there.

“On the first site, the manufacturer of LED products and lighting equipment ZuR and the company Arkada, which produces workwear, are building their new workshops. Both companies are going to expand.

The Zasport factory is also under construction, and four more residents are preparing to start the construction stage.

In addition, we are now working on engineering and transport infrastructure at the first site. There are also plans for an administrative and business center,” Radiy Khabirov posts.

There will be four sites in total. They are formed according to the cluster type - light industry, agriculture, production of building materials and alternative energy, chemistry, and petrochemistry.

The second and fourth sites are at the design stage, and the conclusion of the expertise is expected for the third.

“So far, there are 12 residents in the Alga SEZ. The total investment will amount to 25.65 billion rubles, we plan to create 1,733 new jobs there. We are now considering 8 more companies as potential residents.

The prospects are huge. It is no coincidence that according to the results of 2021, Alga was recognized as the fastest developing and “discovery of the year” in the National rating of investment attractiveness of industrial economic zones.

The status of residents of our special economic zone gives companies advantages and benefits for a profitable business. Its area is more than 467 hectares, of which more than 336 are for rent. 111 hectares (33%) are still available,” Radiy Khabirov reminded.
