

Bashkortostan and Turkey have long-standing economic ties; Turkish business is actively working in the region. This was stated by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov during a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Hasan Buyukdede at the Innoprom exhibition.
Today in Yekaterinburg, within the framework of the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom", the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Hassan Buyukdede. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to the Russian Federation Mehmet Samsar also took part in it.
The Head of the Republic noted that Bashkortostan and Turkey have long-standing economic ties and Turkish business is actively working in the region, and new partners are emerging. In particular, on June 4, 2022, at the site of the All-Russian Investment Sabantuy "Trans-Urals - 2022", JSC "Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan" and the Turkish company Sanica Pipe signed an Agreement of Intent to implement an investment project on the territory of the industrial park "Ufimsky". The investor will place six plastic pipe production lines in the Ufimsky park, investing about 200 million rubles in this stage.
2.1 billion rubles will be financedin the next stage - the placement of an enterprise to produce combined boilers and heating batteries on the territory of the Alga SEZ. As a result, about 2.3 billion rubles will be invested in the two stages, with the creation of 255 new jobs.
“To expand our cooperation, we opened representative offices of the Congress Bureau of Bashkortostan in Ankara and Istanbul. In September of this year, a delegation from Bashkortostan will visit Turkey, which will include heads of large industrial enterprises,” said Radiy Khabirov.
The Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey thanked the Head of Bashkortostan for the possibility of such a meeting.
According to him, Turkish business is interested in cooperation with the republic, especially in engineering.
“Several Turkish companies are successfully operating in Bashkortostan, and negotiations are underway on new investment projects. We are glad that our business operates in Russia, and we thank the republic for such a warm attitude towards Turkish entrepreneurs. I would be happy to visit Bashkortostan and see how our Turkish enterprises work, especially in implementing large infrastructure projects,” Hasan Buyukdede said.
Recall that the main contractor for the construction of the Eastern Exit from Ufa is the Turkish company Limakmarashavtodorogi LLC.
In June, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Trade and Services of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Turkish company Nevco Holding at the site of the All-Russian Investment Sabantuy Trans-Urals-2022 in Sibay.
The holding plans to implement a project to develop a network of public catering enterprises "Ercan Burger" on the territory of our republic.
The Turkish seed company Genesis Agro Trade will implement an investment project on the territory of Bashkortostan for the production of hybrid seeds of sunflower and other crops. The investments in the project are estimated at 142 million rubles. The investment project will create at least 32 new jobs.
