Industrial production index increased by 8.2% compared to last year in Bashkiria in May

Compared to January-May 2021, the IPP increased by 6.2% over the five months of this year.

In the country, the corresponding figures are -1.7% and +2.8%.

According to Bashkortostan Statistics, positive trends by January-May 2021 is provided in all industrial sectors of the republic: mining (+19.3%), manufacturing (+5%), providing electricity, gas and steam; (+1.1%), water supply, sanitation, organization of waste collection and disposal, activities for the elimination of pollution (+2.7%).

Among the manufacturing industries, an increase in output since the beginning of the year was observed in the production of electrical equipment (by 2.6 times), medicines, furniture (by 1.5-1.6 times), printing products (+37.4%), machinery and equipment (+27.8%), metallurgy products (+25.4%), rubber and plastic products, finished metal products (+21.6-22.9%), paper and paper products (+15.1% ), other vehicles and equipment (114.4%), food products (+8.3%), other non-metallic mineral products (107.1%).

At the same time, compared to January-May 2021, there was a decrease in the production of textiles by 12%, coke and oil products - by 10.2%, computers, electronic and optical products - by 9.3%, vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers - by 6.2%, clothing - by 4.7%, drinks, leather and leather products - by 2.3-2.5%.

Oil and gas producing enterprises of Bashkiria in January-May of this year shipped products worth 151.1 billion rubles. - 3.5 times more than in the five months of 2021. At the same time, production volumes for January-May are almost 29% higher than for the five months of 2021; production in May 2022 is 12.8% less than in May 2021.
