At the final meeting of the spring session, the deputies of the State Assembly supported the package of laws introduced by the government aimed at supporting the economy of the republic in the face of sanctions pressure.
“A comprehensive reduction in the burden on business is envisaged,” Konstantin Tolkachev, Chairman of the Parliament commented. “Support measures relate to various sectors of the economy: consumer cooperation, shopping malls, IT companies, areas of advanced socio-economic development and entrepreneurs using the patent taxation system.”
In particular, it is proposed to reduce the property tax for shopping malls that do not increase rents; the development of PDA (priority development areas) should be facilitated by a significant reduction in tax rates for residents using a simplified taxation system. Taxes are also reduced for consumer societies and entrepreneurs using the patent taxation system.
Konstantin Tolkachev also thanked the government for the prompt elaboration of these initiatives.
