About 230 farms used preferential loans in Bashkiria

298 applications for preferential loans were approved for farmers of Bashkiria in 2021. Of these, 228 fell on the share of small farms. The total amount of soft loans intended for farmers in the region exceeded 2 billion rubles.

In 2022, the federal budget allocated more than 1.2 billion rubles for concessional lending to the agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria. The funds are used to offset the key rate. The list of recipients of such state support has been expanded: this year meat processing enterprises can also receive them. Previously, milk processing enterprises received such an opportunity.

“It is gratifying that small business, which occupies a significant share in the agriculture of the republic, is also actively using the opportunities for preferential lending. Preferential loans have become one of the main sources of financing for spring field work, including for crop farmers. Good readiness allows the sowing campaign to be carried out at a high rate. To date, the sowing of spring crops has been performed on an area of ​​1.536 million hectares, which is more than 70% of the plan,” Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture RB commented.
