Central city park transformation concept was presented in Ishimbay

The team of the Institute for Urban Development of Bashkortostan, with the support of the administration of Ishimbay, presented an architectural concept for the transformation of the central park of the city. This year, Ishimbay is participating in the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns with the application "Heart of Ishimbay".

Work on the competitive application began in the winter of 2022. During this time, experts met with citizens online and offline to discuss the problems and values ​​of the park, worked in focus groups with the creative community, and entrepreneurs of Ishimbay, and gave lectures on urbanism for teenagers.

During the final presentation, the authors of the architectural concept of the Institute for Urban Development spoke about the routes and new functional areas of the park, which they developed for citizens of different ages.

The project will be implemented on the condition that Ishimbay’s application for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment wins the 2022 All-Russian competition.

In total, 7 competitive applications will be submitted from Bashkiria in 2022, the cities of Agidel, Meleuz, Dyurtyuli, Yanaul, Ishimbay, and the historical settlements of Verkhotor and Kushnarenkovo ​​are participating.
