Bashkiria considers extending benefits for SEZ residents
The Ministry of Finance RB has submitted for consideration to the State Assembly - Kurultay an amendment to the law on taxes, extending the benefits for residents of the Alga special economic zone of production and industrial type. It is proposed to extend for two years the period of application of the five percent corporate income tax rate.
Now for residents, this tax is reset to zero in the first five years, in the next five years they pay 5%, and after 10 years of work the rate will be 13.5%.
Another amendment provides for exemption from property tax for organizations managing closed-end investment funds in respect of residential premises and car spaces leased to individuals or legal entities. This is being done to create a competitive and high-quality offer in the rental housing market, the Republican Ministry of Finance explained.
