Two more solar power plants are planned to be launched in Bashkiria by the end of 2022. The Minister of Industry and Innovations of Bashkiria Alexander Sheldyaev spoke about this at a briefing session.
“These are Agidel SPPs with a capacity of 9.98 MW with an investment of 925 million rubles and Baimakskaya SPP-1 with a capacity of 10 MW with an investment of 800 million rubles,” he said.
Bashkortostan ranks fifth in Russia in terms of the development of solar energy. In April of this year, the solar power station was opened at the Blagoveshchensk Polief. Such green electricity will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and hence its carbon footprint.
Recall that six solar power plants are already operating in Bashkortostan in the Khaibullinsky, Kuyurgazinsky, Zianchurinsky, Sterlibashevsky, Gafurysky districts, and the largest station in Europe in the Burzyansky district.
