

In January-March of this year, the republic's industry maintained its growth: the industrial production index for the first quarter amounted to 110.1% compared to the first quarter of 2021 (Russia - 105.9%).
Of the 29 industrial types of economic activity, 21 provided growth in production volumes, Minister of Industry and Innovation Alexander Sheldyaev said at a government meeting in the Center of Republic Management.
The highest growth rates were shown by the production of electrical equipment (by 3.3 times), the extraction of crude oil and natural gas (by 1.7 times), and the production of medicines and medical materials (by 1.5 times).
Under the pressure of sanctions, the industry of the region will be supported by 16 measures worth more than 1.8 billion rubles, the minister said.
A large part of the support will be provided through the Industry Development Fund RB. It will be capitalized by 200 million rubles to subsidize the interest rate on loans and provide preferential loans. The IDF received 128 million rubles from the federal center to give grants to reimburse part of the interest rate on loans for turnover.
40 million rubles this year, it is planned to support the timber industry complex - to reimburse enterprises for part of the costs of acquiring new machinery and equipment.
Since the beginning of the year, the forest industry enterprises have used their funds to purchase pulp and paper, furniture, woodworking equipment, logging, forestry, forest fire, and forestry equipment in the amount of more than 420 million rubles, and by the end of the year, purchases are planned for at least 80 million rubles.
For the light and textile industries, support is provided for 158 million rubles, which will be used to subsidize the purchase of raw materials and materials.
Budget allocations are also provided for measures to revive and develop the arts and crafts - for 11 million rubles, the Minister of Industry recalled.
