Energy is the most important part of infrastructure support for the industry and housing and utility services of the republic, Alexander Sheldyaev, Minister of Industry and Innovation of Bashkiria, noted at a briefing session of the government. According to him, the implementation of several investment projects in this area continues in the region and new ones are planned.

Thus, Bashkir Generating Company continues the comprehensive modernization of facilities at Karmanovskaya HEPP, Ufimskaya CHPP-2, Ufimskaya CHPP-4, Priufimskaya CHPP, Sterlitamakskaya, and Novo-Sterlitamakskaya CHPP.

To ensure a reliable power supply to consumers in Blagoveshchensk and Iglino, it is planned to build two 110 kV power centers. Today, design work and registration of a land plot for rent for the construction of these facilities are underway, according to Bashkir Generating Company. Construction is planned to be completed in Blagoveshchensk in 2023, and in Iglino in 2024.

Work is underway to create a 500 kV substation in the Trans-Urals. After approving a preliminary feasibility study, it is planned to start designing works this year.

By the end of this year, it is planned to commission two objects of renewable solar energy. These are Agidel’s 9.98 MW SPPs with an investment of 925 million rubles and "Baimakskaya SPP-1" with a capacity of 10 MW with an investment of 800 million rubles.

A network of charging stations for electric vehicles will be developed. Now there are 13 stations operating in the region, this year they should increase by 10.

“Continuation of the gas filling infrastructure development is also on the agenda. Currently, investors are actively selecting and registering land plots for the construction of CNG filling stations. This year, we plan to ensure the commissioning of another 10 filling stations in addition to the existing 41,” Alexander Sheldyaev said.
