Bashkiria’s high level of creditworthiness is confirmed

The "Expert RA" rating agency confirmed the credit rating of Bashkortostan on the national scale at the level of "ruАА+". According to the ruAA+ national scale, this is a high level of creditworthiness, financial reliability and stability. The rating outlook is Stable.

“This assessment of Bashkortostan as a reliable partner testifies to the effectiveness of the implemented financial policy, as well as the stability of our economy and the republic's budget to external factors,” Lira Igtisamova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Finance of Bashkortostan said.

In the reporting year, industrial growth was observed in the republic. The volume of investments in fixed assets (excluding budgetary funds) for 2021 amounted to 364.9 billion rubles, which is 9.3% higher than the level of 2020. The growth was ensured by the implementation of several major projects in key economic activities.

According to experts, Bashkortostan is characterized by prominent characteristics: the GRP at the end of 2021, amounted to 2.0 trillion rubles, which is 4.2% higher than the level of 2020 in comparable prices. The positive trend was due to the increase in the production capacities of the region's enterprises amid the improvement of the economic situation.

The budget of the region is characterized by a moderate level of sufficiency. The republic is pursuing a restrained debt policy.
