Preferential mortgages at reduced rate will work in Russia from May 1

Preferential mortgages at a rate reduced from 12% to 9% will work in Bashkiria and throughout the country from May 1, the Russian Ministry of Finance said.

The updated state program will last until the end of 2022. The volume of financing from the budget is estimated at 461 billion rubles.

For Bashkiria and other regions, the maximum loan amount will be up to 6 million rubles.

Recall that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin earlier proposed to reduce the rate on preferential mortgages.
