Yakutia is interested in Bashkiria experience in agro-industrial complex and industry

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Andrey Tarasenko. The parties discussed the prospects for strengthening interregional cooperation in the economy.

Radiy Khabirov congratulated the inhabitants of Yakutia on the 100th anniversary of the formation of the autonomous republic within Russia, which would be celebrated on April 29.

"Three years ago we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Bashkortostan became the first region to receive such a status in Russian history,” Radiy Khabirov said. “Today we continue to develop our leadership qualities in the economy. Bashkortostan has long been famous for its petroleum chemistry. Now we are focusing on the development of new industries - we have created the first furniture cluster in Russia, we are building modern technology parks, we are developing five PDAs, and we are actively attracting new residents to the Alga Special Economic Zone."

At the meeting, they considered the prospects for animal husbandry and crop production, the exchange of experience in agro-industrial production.

“We are very interested in all the latest achievements of Bashkortostan in the field of agriculture and industry,” Andrey Tarasenko said. “We are ready to apply in our republic all your best projects for the socio-economic development of the region. Our republics have a lot in common. Therefore, Yakutia needs to build a line of interaction with Bashkortostan in trade and economic issues."

In 2019, at the XXI Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn", the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture of Yakutia.
