In Bashkortostan, infant-feeding products ("Molochnaya Kukhnya") are made by seven factories. At the end of 2021, they processed 3.6 thousand tons of milk and produced 6.3 million servings of milk, 4.5 million servings of kefir, 3.3 million servings of cottage cheese, 2.8 million servings of yogurt. There are 140 distribution points in the republic - 55 branded outlets, 11 - based on pharmacies and clinics, and truck shops regularly come to 64 other settlements.
“We have developed a standard, and 22,624 people in Bashkortostan receive infant-feeding products free of charge - children from low-income families, orphans and those left without parental care, pregnant and lactating mothers. We understand how important such support is for our residents, so we tried to remove the bureaucratic component as much as possible. To receive free products, you only need copies of identification documents and a certificate from a pediatrician. You can apply in the mobile application and in all offices of the multi-functional centers,” the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov posted on his social media page.
The Head of the Republic recalled that the decision to revive infant-feeding production centers was made three years ago. Today they are actively developing, new flavors are being added to the product line, packaging is becoming more convenient.
“Reviews from mothers are very important to us. They say that our infant-feeding production is the best dairy products for children, balanced and tasty, and ask to further develop the network. We are thinking about it,” the Head of the region said.
