A fish-breeding complex for growing and deep processing of sturgeon may appear in Bashkiria, the cost of which will be about 1.2 billion rubles.
The business plan of the project was presented by LLC "BashBalyk" at a meeting of the expert council of the special economic zone "Alga" in the government of the republic. The future plant will produce semi-finished products and delicacies, as well as sturgeon caviar.
It is noted that the fish-breeding complex will allow for the supply of environmentally friendly products to the market of Bashkiria and other regions. The creators also plan to start breeding Russian sturgeon and the settled Bashkir population of sterlet for stocking the Belaya basin with fish.
