

During the week, the timber processing enterprises of the Beloretsk region of Bashkiria exported 3,059.8 cubic meters of sawn timber from coniferous wood to the countries of near and far abroad.
Processed and spliced boards, timber, and other products went to Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
“All 77 batches of export wood are controlled by the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan, and selected samples of products have passed laboratory examinations in the testing laboratory. According to the results of entomological studies on regulated products, conclusions were obtained on the quarantine phytosanitary status of regulated products. The supervisory agency issued 77 phytosanitary certificates, as well as 7 quarantine certificates”, the agency’s press service said.
Recall that on behalf of the President of Russia, from January 1, 2022, a complete ban is introduced on the export of unprocessed wood or roughly processed softwood and valuable hardwood from the country.
