They plan to issue subsidies for bee packages production in Bashkiria

The emphasis in Bashkortostan will be on developing local bees. The European dark bee is fully adapted to the conditions of Bashkortostan and has a much better chance of surviving in our climate, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said at the opening of the international forum "Breeding work in the beekeeping development strategy", which was held in Ufa.

 “We are betting on producing bee packages here and starting to subsidize their production by 50%, so that the end buyer, our beekeepers, can purchase them at an affordable price,” the vice-premier said. He clarified that the mechanism of subsidizing is currently being worked out.

The director of the Federal Scientific Center for Beekeeping, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Anna Brandorf highly appreciated the potential of beekeeping in the republic, arguing that the source of nectar in the region is linden, a highly honey plant.

The lack of a comprehensive digital system, as well as domestic solutions for the digitalization of beekeeping, was pointed out by Alexey Borisov, Deputy General Director of PJSC Bashinformsvyaz (part of Rostelecom Group of Companies). He proposed to create a single digital platform for beekeeping, which would include, among other things, a breeding material management system (data banks, research institutes, laboratories).
