From April 8 to April 14, enterprises of the Baimaksky, Abzelilovsky, and Khaibullinsky regions sent 282 tons of oil flax to China for processing. Since March, deliveries of Bashkir raw materials to China amounted to 1,756 tons.
This was announced on his social media by the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov.
“Oil flax grown here in Bashkortostan turned out to be in great demand in China. If before the imposition of sanctions, the main export flows of this crop went to the EU countries, now our farmers are reorienting themselves to the South Asian markets,” he explained. “They also buy our flax in Belarus, so we will not be left without markets. On the contrary, in 2022 we plan to increase the sown area from 60,000 to 75,000 hectares.”
