

In Bashkiria, 850 million rubles will be allocated to modernize the system of secondary vocational education. It also provides for 30 million rubles of grants to modernize five colleges. It was announced at a government meeting on the Year of Modernization of Vocational Education, Decent Working Conditions, and Labor Dynasties in the republic held on April 19 under the leadership of Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov.
“We pay great attention to solving human resources problems, improving the quality of training specialists for priority sectors of the economy. The results of the past 9th National Championship "Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia)" showed that the regional system of vocational education had great opportunities and potential for development. That is why, among other things, it was decided to declare 2022 the Year of Modernization of Vocational Education, Decent Working Conditions, and Labor Dynasties,” Andrey Nazarov emphasized.
The plan included 65 events for holding the Vocational Education Modernization Year in Bashkortostan, among them a competitive selection for the provision of grants to modernize the facilities and technical resources of professional educational organizations.
Besides, according to the Minister of Education and Science RB Aibulat Khazhin, measures are envisaged to establish grants from the Head of the Republic for teachers and masters of industrial training at vocational educational organizations.
“This project is aimed at improving the incentive system for vocational education teachers. Every year, the top 10 will receive 690,000 rubles each,” the minister noted.
“Based on the results of competitive selections conducted by the Ministry of Education of Russia, we continue to create modern workshops. This year there will be 12 new ones. 61 million rubles have been attracted from the federal budget for their creation,” Aibulat Khazhin added. “Certainly, it relates to the “Professionality” federal project. This year, the republic passed a competitive selection on creating an educational and production center for the engineering industry and attracted federal 100 million ruble subsidies for its creation.”
