200 people submitted their projects for Agrostartup grant in Bashkiria

The Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria has completed consideration of projects as part of the competition for "Agrostartup" grants. The commission has examined the work of 200 applicants.

“The selection is strict and scrupulous, the competition is big - about seven people per grant. It is important for us that promising projects that will actively develop and expand food production in the republic receive state support,” Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said.

In total, 125.4 million rubles of state support were allocated for the Agrostartup grant in the republic this year. The program is implemented within the framework of the SME national project. Over the three years of the implementation of the activities of this project, 232 new farms have been created in the republic.

This measure of state support for the agro-industrial complex has already managed to prove its effectiveness in practice. So, Fidaris Khamadiyev from the Karmaskalinsky district took part in the competition in 2020. His project was highly appreciated by the members of the commission. As a result, the total cost of financing exceeded 4.19 million rubles, of which about 1.2 million rubles made up the entrepreneur's own funds.

“I plan to develop cattle breeding, I want to buy livestock this year. From 2023, I would like to expand the land to 200 hectares through a lease. Now the sown area is 120 hectares,” Fidaris Khamadiyev shared.
