Central Bank of Russia has registered new payment system
The regulator's website reports that the new Hello payment system is designed for money transfers within Russia and abroad.
Hello LLC is the operator of the new payment system. The organization was registered in Moscow in 2016. The company is owned by Lodgegate Management and Sales LLC, the beneficiary is Alfiya Abdurakhmanova, federal media indicate.
Transcapitalbank (38th place in terms of assets among Russian banks) is registered as a settlement center, and the organization's e-mail is registered to the domain of the gold miner Vysochaishy (GV Gold).
On April 18, the head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, announced that 52 foreign organizations from 12 countries had joined the Russian analog of SWIFT - the Financial Message Transfer System (SPFS).
SPFS was developed in 2014. After February 24, the Russian banking sector took the first hit of sanctions pressure. Several large banks have been disconnected from the SWIFT system, Visa and Mastercard payment systems have stopped servicing Russian cards outside the country, and many countries have announced the freezing of Russian assets.
