Roads to popular tourist places will be repaired in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, large-scale work will continue to bring the roads leading to popular tourist places and attractions to the standard state thanks to the implementation of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads". This was reported by the regional Ministry of Transport.

Only this year it is planned to repair more than 24 kilometers of roads. It is planned to allocate more than 503 million rubles from the budget for these purposes.

According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Marat Khusnullin, at the moment more than 800 road network facilities leading to local attractions have been repaired in the Russian regions. The total length of already repaired roads exceeded 4,000 kilometers.

Work will continue in the new road season. In total, the program of activities for the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads" included 345 sections of highways and streets.

“Domestic tourism can become one of the effective tools to stimulate the economy in the regions. Therefore, road builders need to ensure comfortable and safe travel to tourist sites. By the end of the year, we plan to repair about 1.7 thousand more kilometers of roads leading to tourist places,” Roman Novikov, head of the Federal Road Agency, said.

For example, in the upcoming road construction season in Bashkiria, within the framework of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads", it is planned to repair two sections of the Blagoveshchensk-Pavlovka road with a total length of about 5 kilometers at once.

This route is very popular with residents and guests of Bashkiria, as it leads to the Pavlovsky reservoir, where there are many recreation centers, sanatoriums, and children's health camps.

The roadway will also be updated on the section between the village of Uptino and the Yumatovo sanatorium in the Ufimsky district of the republic. The length of the repaired section is about 4 kilometers.

The "Safe High-Quality Roads" national project was developed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The large-scale project covers almost the entire country. It involves 84 constituent entities of Russia (excluding Moscow and St. Petersburg) and 105 urban agglomerations.
