Plant for pea deep processing will be built in Neftekamsk

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has included the Moscow LLC "Ingfood" in the register of residents of the "Neftekamsk" PDA (priority development area). The company intends to build a plant for the deep processing of peas. To implement the investment project, the enterprise will be able to use the benefits provided for PDA residents. The cost of the project is 4.9 billion rubles, more than 100 jobs will be created at the enterprise, the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkiria reported.

The new enterprise plans to produce pea protein, starch, dietary fiber, and their derivatives. They plan to supply products to enterprises in Central Russia and the Urals, in the future - to export to China.

“Investors note that they chose our republic primarily because of the proposed support measures that are in effect in the region. In addition, the company is interested in a stable supply of raw materials from Bashkir farmers, and the location of the future production is very convenient from a logistical point of view, ” the Bashkiria Development Corporation accompanying the project explained.

The investment project implementation period is 2022-2028. The launch of production is planned for the second half of 2023, reaching the design capacity in 2027.
