In 2021, the Industry Development Fund of Bashkiria successfully continued to promote the efficient use of the industrial potential of the republic and supported 36 investment projects. Anver Karimov, director of the Industrial Development Fund RB, announced this at a briefing session of the regional government in the Republic Management Center.
According to him, the total volume of investments in the industry of the republic has additionally reached 9.4 billion rubles, of which the funds of the Federal Industry Development Fund amounted to "a record among all regional funds of Russia 4.7 billion rubles."
At the same time, 17 projects were financed from the funds of the Industry Development Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
“During the implementation of the projects, more than 1.2 thousand new jobs will be created, tax revenues will exceed 3 billion rubles,” Anver Karimov added.
In total, since the beginning of the Fund's work, 87 projects have been supported with a total investment in the economy of Bashkiria of more than 30.2 billion rubles, including more than 10.6 billion rubles attracted from the Russian Industrial Development Fund.
“During the operation of the Industrial Development Fund of Bashkiria, investment projects of industrial enterprises in 20 municipalities of the republic received concessional financing,” Karimov said, and at the same time noted that three packages of measures to improve the stability of the economy of Bashkiria in 2020-2021 had been adopted by the republican government.
The republican programs of the Foundation “Counteracting epidemic diseases” and “Anti-crisis measures” were developed and included in the work in a short time, which played a crucial role in stabilizing the economy and overcoming negative trends in it. Thus, thanks to these programs, 46 republican projects were financed.
According to the heads of federal authorities and business circles in Russia, the mechanism for providing financial support to industrial projects of enterprises through the Industrial Development Fund is the most effective and promising in the country, since projects are carefully selected and their further implementation is monitored with full return of borrowed funds to the Fund.
On behalf of the Bashkir government, the IDF of Bashkiria was the first among regional funds to prepare and approve the procedure for providing grants to industrial enterprises to reimburse part of the interest rate under loan agreements.
“At the federal level, a decision has been made to provide regional funds within the framework of a package of anti-crisis measures from 10 to 200 million rubles. Bashkiria, as one of the leading industrial regions, will receive 128 million rubles as a result of the competition to provide grants to reimburse part of the interest rate on loan agreements concluded to replenish the working capital of enterprises,” Anver Karimov said. “In addition, it is planned to capitalize the Fund from the federal budget for almost 34 million rubles. Another 10 million rubles, attracted from the federal budget as a separate line in the state program of the Ministry of Industry of Bashkiria, will be directed to support light industry.”
As the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov emphasized at the meeting, the Regional Industrial Development Fund was “one of our partners, an effective mechanism” in work.
“We will think about the additional capitalization of the fund,” Radiy Khabirov added.
