The agro-industrial complex development strategy will be adjusted by July following the new realities. The Russian government has named five measures to support the agro-industrial complex.
- Additional 153 billion rubles are allocated from the budget for preferential short-term and investment loans.
- When supplying fertilizers, the needs of Russian farmers should be a priority, so there will be no export licensing yet. However, the issue will be discussed shortly and a decision will be made in the interests of the country.
- At least 5 billion rubles are allocated to support seed and breeding centers to reduce the share of imported seeds.
- In a short time, our production of agricultural machinery will increase, and the volume of financing is planned.
- The task is to ensure the growth of the agro-industrial complex and fisheries higher than in the economy as a whole. Therefore, by July, the strategy for these industries' development will be adjusted, which will include an exhaustive set of state support measures.
