Second electric train "Lastochka" will run on tourist destination in Bashkiria

Radiy Khabirov, at a briefing session of the government at the Republic Management Center of Bashkortostan, called Russian Railways one of the most effective partners of the republic. The Head of Bashkiria recalled that the first Lastochka was launched on the Ufa-Priyutovo route on April 1. This train was called the "Western Express".

The second high-speed electric train will carry passengers in an easterly direction.

“We agreed that the Lastochka would also go to Inzer-Beloretsk. Families with children will be able to relax on the road in excellent conditions instead of driving a car along a difficult route,” Radiy Khabirov said.

He noted the high demand for the Ufa-Orenburg route, which has been operated by the Orlan train since autumn. “For 11 years there was no direct communication with Orenburg, only with a transfer. People vote with their rubles, the project justifies itself,” the Head of the Republic noted.

Last week, the sixth business lounge in Russia was opened at the Ufa railway station. These are only in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod.

“In terms of the railway infrastructure, the main task of the government is the Ufa Ring. This is a big project, it is not going quite well, but we must slowly push through and one day we will reach our goal”, Radiy Khabirov stressed.
