173.6 thousand tons of commercial milk produced in Bashkiria in first quarter
In Bashkiria, in January-March, 173.6 thousand tons of marketable milk were produced, which is 6.1 thousand tons more than in the first quarter of last year.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture RB, enterprises and farmers produced 173.6 thousand tons of marketable milk in the first three months. This is 6.1 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.
A third of the increase was provided by the farms of the Ilishevsky district, which milked 11.8 thousand tons of milk against last year's 9.8 thousand tons. The production of marketable milk in the Sterlitamak region increased by 1.2 thousand tons, the gross indicator in agricultural enterprises and farms of the municipality almost reached 10 thousand tons.
Chekmagush farms traditionally lead in terms of gross production of marketable milk. Their figure for the first quarter is 15.3 thousand tons.
Commercial milk is a raw material received from farms for processing.
