

In Bashkiria, according to the results for 2021, the volume of international exports increased by 17.8% and amounted to 3.7 billion US dollars. The Prime Minister of the Republic Andrey Nazarov spoke about this at the 42nd meeting of the State Assembly of the VI convocation.
“The highest growth rates were achieved in the export of leather products (three times), wood and paper products (two times), agricultural and metal products (by more than 80%), chemical products, and clothing (about 40-50%). The Export Support Center RB last year took second place among the regions of the country in the rating of the Russian Export Center. Our republic is among the leaders in the implementation of the export standard. In addition, we have expanded our presence in foreign countries by opening representative offices of Bashkiria in Nur-Sultan and Minsk, and soon they will appear in China and Uzbekistan,” Andrey Nazarov said.
The prime minister also said that the exporters of the region would be reimbursed for part of the costs of logistics, certification of products for new markets in friendly countries, corporate training for key players, and industry accelerator programs for exporting products.
