23 wagons of food flax are sent from Bashkiria to Latvia
Bashkiria shipped more than 1,500 tons of food flax seeds to Latvia.
According to the press service of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor, the Meleuz enterprise shipped more than 1,531 tons of food flax seeds to Latvia.
“The entire volume of oilseeds, which is 23 railway cars, was controlled before shipment by the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The samples of regulated products selected by the Supervisory Authority have passed the laboratory examination. According to the results of herbological and entomological studies, no dangerous quarantine harmful organisms were found in the seed samples,” the ministry said.
Based on the conclusion on the quarantine phytosanitary status of regulated products, a phytosanitary certificate was issued. The products of Bashkir farmers fully comply with the requirements of the EU countries and the importing country.
