Caravanning and tourist shipping will be developed in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, it is planned to develop auto tourism and caravanning, as well as cruise and river tourism.
Such tasks are set by the State Committee for Tourism of Bashkiria for 2022.
According to the head of the department, Rinat Fatkullin, it is planned to ensure the development of auto tourism and caravanning, which are becoming especially popular due to significant restrictions on air travel.
In 2022, 13 vessel trips are planned to reach Ufa with stops in small towns. There were five cruise ship trips in 2021.
“Here, of course, there are certain restrictions associated with the development of berthing infrastructure. However, within the framework of the state program of the Ministry of Transport RB “Development of passenger transportation by inland water transport of the Republic of Bashkortostan”, until 2027, it is planned to build seven pontoon river berths. This will activate river tourism and will increase the flow of tourists to our region,” Fatkullin said.
