Bashkiria economy will be able to overcome consequences of sanctions pressure - Radiy Khabirov
Based on the results of the first two months of this year, the index of industrial production in Bashkiria amounted to 112.4%, which is higher than the average Russian indicator (107.5%). This was announced at a briefing session of the government of Bashkiria, which was held for the first time in the building of the Republic Management Center, the Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov said.
The highest growth rates were achieved in the production of electrical equipment (4 times), drugs (1.7 times), metal products (142%). Bashneft demonstrated high growth rates of the enterprises in the commodity sector.
“We will expect strong blows to our economy due to sanctions pressure, but with such a good start, we will be able to significantly dampen the possible consequences,” Radiy Khabirov stressed.
