Lastochka train will begin to run in Bashkiria starting April 1

Lastochka will replace the electric train running along the route of the suburban train Ufa - Priyutovo. This route, opened on January 31 this year, is very popular with passengers: more than 12,000 people have used it since the start of operation.

According to Russian Railways spokeswoman Gulnaz Manapova, the Lastochka's travel time on the Ufa-Priyutovo route will be 2 hours 55 minutes (currently 3 to 4 hours).

Stops are provided at the stations Dema, Alkino, Chishmy-1, Shingak-Kul, Davlekanovo, Raevka, Shafranovo, Aksenovo and Aksakovo. Shortly, the possibility of extending the route to the Abdulino station (Orenburg region) will be worked out.

According to the rules for issuing travel documents for fast suburban trains with the provision of seats, you can purchase tickets for the new Lastochka no more than 10 days before the train's departure. Tickets will be available for purchase in the Russian Railways Passengers mobile app and at suburban ticket offices.

The fare on the Lastochka from Ufa to Priyutovo will be 535 rubles. Each carriage is equipped with an air conditioning system, air disinfection is carried out using ultraviolet radiation. There are sockets for recharging mobile devices, and special areas for placing bulky luggage. Toilet rooms are located in the head cars. The train also provides space for the disabled in wheelchairs and lifts for their boarding on and off.
