Bashkiria strengthens trade ties with Belarus: cooperation agreements signed

A delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by the Director General of the Gomel Branch of the BelCCI Marina Filonova is in Bashkortostan on a working visit. As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations RB, Belarus is one of the three leading trade partners of the republic, and it is planned to increase economic ties.

During the visit, the delegation of Belarus visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkiria. Marina Filonova and representative of Congress Bureau of Bashkortostan in the Republic of Belarus Konstantin Klimin signed agreements.

The Belarusian delegation also took part in the events of the International Exhibition "AgroComplex" 2022. One of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery JSC "Gomselmash" held negotiations with the participation of dealers of Tekhresurs LLC and Agrosila Trade House with companies of the Republic of Bashkortostan within the framework of the forum and exhibition.

Director General of the Gomel branch of the BelCCI Marina Filonova visited the branch of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Ufa. Following the meeting, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Gomel branch of the BelCCI and the regional Export Support Center.

It is important to note that, a visit by a delegation of the Republic of Belarus to the agricultural complexes of Bashkortostan - "Artemida" LLC, "Urozhay", "UfaGorMolZavod" LLC was organized with the active assistance of the Ministry of Agriculture RB. Based on the results of visiting the enterprises of the republic, the participants reached agreements on further fruitful cooperation - commercial offers, taking into account specific requests, will be sent to Belarusian counterparties additionally.

A working meeting of the Belarusian delegation was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, where the parties signed an additional agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture RB and JSC Gomselmash.

At the end of 2021, Belarus ranks third in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan with a share of 6.3%.

China is in first place - 21.4%, Kazakhstan is in second place - 9.1%.
