Largest dairy farm of 6.5 thousand heads is launched in Bashkiria

Today, within the framework of the 32nd International Specialized Exhibition "AgroComplex" and the Agro-Industrial Forum, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov launched the largest livestock complex in the republic - dairy farms of the Urozhay Group of Companies. They were erected in the Aurgazinsky district.

They are designed for keeping 6,530 heads of cattle with a fattening production of 2,980 heads. This is the largest project in the field of dairy farming, which is being implemented in the republic. In December 2018, it received approval at an Investment Hour session. The total investment will amount to 4.6 billion rubles. After the construction is completed, the complex will receive about 60,000 tons of milk per year.

Besides, a competence center will be created there to develop a dairy herd with a high concentration of high-yielding, black-and-white Holstein cows.

According to Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, vice-premier of the government of the republic - minister of agriculture, it will make it possible to develop industrial dairy farming at a high pace in Bashkiria.
