

In February of this year, the increase in prices for certain types of vegetables and fruit continued, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency stated.
"In addition, prices for dairy products, fish products, beef, and cereals have increased," the republic's statisticians said.
At the same time, lemons showed the largest price increase in February - by 26 percent. Their average cost in the region was 135 rubles per kilogram. Oranges rose in price by 21.6 percent over the month - up to 110 rubles per kilogram. Prices for grapes and pears went up by 113.6-115.3 percent over the month, respectively, to an average of 181 and 188 rubles per kilogram.
The list of products that became more expensive also includes beef, boneless pork, all types of sausages, canned meat, as well as chilled, salted, and smoked fish, canned fish, butter and sunflower oil, milk, sour cream, fermented milk products, condensed milk, cheeses, canned vegetables, canned vegetables for baby food, fruit juices, eggs, sugar, chocolate, chocolates, cookies, gingerbread, jam, marmalade, black tea, salt, dry soups in bags, flour, bread, and bakery products, polished rice, semolina, peas and beans, oatmeal and pearl barley, vermicelli, cabbage, onions, carrots, fresh cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, apples, bananas, and dried fruits. They increased by 0.3 - 10 percent compared to January 2022.
On the contrary, the largest decrease in the cost - by 6.2 percent, was demonstrated by beet-roots. A kilogram of this vegetable cost an average of 41 rubles in February. The list of foods that have become more accessible also includes pork and lamb (except for boneless meat), chickens, chicken legs, beef liver, sausages, sausages, frozen fish, canned tomatoes, canned fruits and berries for baby food, marshmallows, marshmallows, caramel, coffee, ketchup, black pepper (peas), buns, millet, unground buckwheat, pasta, and potatoes. In February, they fell by 0.3-4.2 percent, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency summed up.
