Bank of Russia has reduced commission when buying foreign currency on stock exchange
According to the regulator's website since March 4, the Bank of Russia has reduced commissions for individual clients when buying foreign currency through brokerage companies from 30 to 12 percent.
"The Bank of Russia, having additionally analyzed the situation, in order to even out competitive conditions in the market and maintain financial stability, from March 4, 2022, reduces the commission for individuals on transactions for the purchase of foreign currency through brokers from 30 to 12 percent and sets the commission for legal entities at the level of 12 percent of the amount of the transaction," the official statement of the Central Bank says.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, on March 3, the Bank of Russia introduced a 30% commission for individuals when buying foreign currency on the stock exchange.
