Modern gas cylinders production will be launched in Bashkiria

An enterprise for the production of modern gas cylinders for transport will be launched in Bashkiria. The enterprise intends to produce up to 18.2 thousand cylinders annually. Recently, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation included Blagoveshchensky Cylinder Plant LLC in the register of residents of the "Blagoveshchensk" priority development area (PDA), Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov said at a meeting in the government of the republic.

"The investor intends to launch an enterprise for the production of modern gas cylinders of various capacities for the needs of vehicles in Blagoveshchensk," the head of government noted.

It is reported that the amount of investment will be over 800 million rubles. As part of the launch of the new production, it is planned to build a hangar-type production workshop with a total area of ​​14 thousand square meters. It will create 71 jobs in the city.

The city of Blagoveshchensk is a single-industry municipality. The city-forming enterprise is Blagoveshchensky Valve Plant JSC. The PDA was established within the boundaries of the single-industry town of Blagoveshchensk on February 12, 2019. Now 28 residents are registered there.

In total, there are five priority development areas in the Republic of Bashkortostan: Belebey, Kumertau, Blagoveshchensk, Neftekamsk and Beloretsk.

PDA residents enjoy standard income tax benefits. During the first five years, the federal part is completely reset to zero, the regional part is 5%, in the next five years, the rate at the regional level is 10%. A reduced coefficient is provided for the lease of state property - 0.01. Municipalities set zero interest rates on land tax. Insurance payments have also been reduced. These conditions apply only to companies that acquire resident status in the priority development area's first three years of operation.
