Glamping complex is being built in Bashkiria National Park

In the Meleuzovsky district, the construction of a glamping complex continues in Bashkiria National Park, the regional government's press service reported. The project received a grant from the Federal Agency for Tourism for 2.5 million rubles last year, and entrepreneurs invested another 750 thousand rubles in constructing glamping sites.

The creation of a new type of tourist recreation on the territory of the Bashkiria National Park will help direct additional tourist flows to the Meleuzovsky district of Bashkiria. Six domed, comfortable tents are installed on the banks of the Nugush reservoir. Panoramic windows of the tents offer a view of the reservoir itself. At the same time, glamping tents can accommodate 24-36 people.

By the way, in 2020, the tourist and recreational cluster "Heart of Bashkiria" became the winner of the All-Russian competition of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on creating tourist and recreational clusters and developing tourist development ecotourism in Russia.

In 2020, the Federal Tourism Agency, for the first time, provided grants for the development of domestic and inbound tourism. The Russian government allocated a subsidy of 1.2 billion rubles to implement this new support measure in tourism.

According to Rostourism, more than 4,000 projects were submitted for consideration during the time of accepting applications; the average amount of the requested grant was 2.6 million rubles. Grant recipients, Russian legal entities, and sole traders invest their own funds in their project - at least a third of the requested grant amount. The maximum grant amount reaches 3 million rubles - this is the first tourism support measure, the application for which could be submitted entirely digital, like presidential grants.
