"Neftekamsk" PDA will launch production for deep wood processing

URALRESURS LLC became a resident of the Neftekamsk priority development area (PDA). It plans to launch a new production facility for deep wood processing.

"The cost of the project will be 29 million rubles," Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy RB Ekaterina Klikunova said.

She noted that the manufactured products are in demand in the areas of production and trade in building materials, among large construction organizations and small developers, including private households in the republic's territory.

Production starts in the second half of 2022; the enterprise will reach its design capacity in the first half of 2024. The total number of jobs is 23; the payback period is 2.5 years.

 The city of Neftekamsk is a single-industry municipality of the 2nd category. The city-forming enterprise is PJSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant. The PDA was established within the monotown of Neftekamsk on February 12, 2019. Now 17 residents are registered there.

In total, there are 5 priority development areas in the Republic of Bashkortostan: Belebey, Kumertau, Blagoveshchensk, Neftekamsk and Beloretsk.

PDA residents enjoy standard income tax benefits.

During the first five years, the federal part is completely reset to zero, the regional part is 5%, in the next five years, the rate at the regional level is 10%. A reduced coefficient is provided for the lease of state property - 0.01. Municipalities set zero interest rates on land tax. Insurance premiums have also been reduced. These conditions apply only to companies that acquire resident status in the first three years of operation of the priority development area.
